Novena and Tanglin URA Masterplan
Novena and Tanglin URA Masterplan Overview
In URA’s Draft Masterplan 2019, Novena and Tanglin residents can look forward to a facelift in their towns. Being well established residential areas on the outskirts of the city centre, residents can look forward to more recreational and more connectivity with the up and coming developments. There is an already built 8-hectare extension of Singapore Botanic Gardens for The Gallop, allowing visitors to explore more parts of the gardens and discover more of nature. Residents can enjoy improved connectivity with the North-South Corridor and park connectors enhance the connectivity between towns, along Sungei Whampoa and Adam Road. The previously mentioned Health City Novena is also underway to become a stellar healthcare hub due to be completed in 2022. Residents can even start taking the Thomson-East Coast Line which opens in 2021, granting more convenient access to parts of the city. Stevens MRT Station will also have a bus interchange, getting around has never been easier.
